OpenUp! established another standard workflow, supporting rich metadata museum objects for Europeana

Starting with the ABCD/BioCASe Provider Software as a standard for the provision of high quality content to Europeana, the GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT) using Darwin Core Archive had been added during 2016. Now a third one, the Museum standard schema LIDO has successfully been established to the OpenUp! Workflow in 2017. With LIDO, a bright range of descriptive information about museum objects of all kinds, e.g. from art, architecture, cultural history, history of technology, and natural history can be supported.
